Soul Pitt Congratulates Pittsburgh's own Roland Ford who we all know as the man that keeps us dancing, aka the "Dancing DJ", the man who has everyone in Pittsburgh line dancing, for his upcoming award nomination at The 2nd ANNUAL "I AM KENNY J" R&B/SOUL LINE DANCE SYMPOSIUM * COMPETITION AND SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY on August 28 & 29 at the Holiday Inn Select in CLAYMONT, DELAWARE.
This will be A fun filled weekend of R&B/Soul Line Dancing highlighting an All-Star Instructor line up from across the United States.

You deserve the praise and publicity. I like the “Pied Piper” reference. There is no doubt that you have changed the activity levels and improved the health and happiness of a lot of people. I plan to get to the park in August and stay with it through the fall. I admit that I get home and get lazy but I will do better. Thanks for sharing this nice article.

Dear Roland,
I wanted to take the time to thank you for the wonderful job you did as a DJ for my daughter's graduation/birthday party. Everyone from age 4 to 64 enjoyed the music and dancing. Those who did not dance truly enjoyed watching the line dances you taught. I didn't realize that I stayed the floor for two hours straight and my children had to remind me that it wasn't my party. The next time I call, and there will be a next time, it will be for my birthday party.

Roland, I want to thank you again for the wonderful line dance

instruction you did for Homewood A.M.E. Zion church's Family Fun Night. The use of gospel music made the old saints and our Pastor very happy to join in the fun. We had small children, grand and great-grandmothers all dancing and laughing and genuinely having fun with the families.

I am still receiving great reviews from members about their families. Even the people who were walking down Homewood Avenue were peeking in the door to see why people seemed so happy. Some of the people who attended the Friday fun night came to our services on Sunday morning! God blessed our occasion and you were definitely part of that

blessing! Keep doing what you do and may God continue to bless you.
